What I like about the sport of tennis is you don’t need a lot of people to play. As an introvert, sometimes idea of heading out to a crowded area and playing a contact sport makes me not want to get my daily exercise. No, I will stick to the sports that can be played alone and in relative silence, sports like running and tennis. Now you might think tennis requires a partner to play, but this is just an excuse for friendly, affable people with social skills to find new people to interact with. This doesn’t really interest me. I play all my tennis alone.
All you need is a wall. There is this one place in the park with a wall specifically designed for tennis and loners. All you do is hit the ball against the wall, over and over again. The wall is the ultimate opponent. It never gives in, never flinches. It is unflappable. Put even a world champion like Rafael Nadal against a wall and he will crumble like a house of cards in a tornado. The wall is my only friend. I trust no one, and whenever I leave to play tennis I always set my home security alarm that I found at http://www.totalalarmsystems.com. Safety is first and foremost, and leaving the house unguarded is a foolish thing to do.
