The Newport Aquarium is located right outside of Cincinnati in Newport, Kentucky. I frequent this aquarium often with my husband and two children and really enjoy it. There are currently more than 70 exhibits on display making it that much easier for parents to incorporate learning with fun. Some of the many exhibits include the Frog Bog, Penguin Encounters, the Shark Tank, the Gator Bayou, the Jellyfish Gallery, a rain forest, and Stingrays. The Frog Bog hosts many species of rare frogs from all over the world. My daughter loved Penguin Encounters and even has the picture to prove it! The Shark Tank is amazing and allows visitors to see a sample of how beautiful these creatures really are. The Gator Bayou is located under a bridge and houses American Alligators in their natural surroundings. The Jellyfish Gallery claims to be the biggest exhibit in the Midwestern United States. This tank is massive and currently has more than 100 different species of jellyfish. The Rain Forest houses otters, Burmese Pythons, and Lorikeets (that you can feed). The stingray exhibit allows visitors the opportunity to touch the rays and learn that they aren’t as dangerous as they seem. Before heading to the aquarium, I always set my HomeAlarmSystems home security alarm to ensure all of my property remains safe. The Newport Aquarium will always remain a favorite place for my family to go.
