Most of the time I’m a beer girl. I’ve never really liked much of the taste of liquor before, even when other people are paying for the drinks. But there is one occasion when I do drink champagne, on New Year’s Eve. I also drink it at wedding toasts too, just because it would look weird to be toasting a beer at a wedding like that when everyone else is toasting champagne.
This is the first time that I’ve thrown a New Year’s party since I was in college, so this one is going to be decidedly better and luxe because I actually have money to spend on it now.
